Remember the guy who asked Miley Cyrus to prom? Well, she might not be joining him for the dance, but she invited him to come up on stage with her where he got down on one knee. Yep, that's not all — you won't even believe what happened next.
All Matt Peterson was doing was giving her a pretty corsage, but Miley took the opportunity to talk about her ex Liam Hemsworth, saying, "I was in this position once before and it didn’t work out too well the last time a guy got on one knee for me. Hopefully this will be better."
From her joke, it definitely doesn't seem like Miley has too many hard feelings about her engagement being called off. Especially since she continued to serenade her "prom date" with her song "Adore You" — aka, the song she wrote about Liam!
